STORY
Problematic skin was our "Why" when Cosmetic Architecture began in 2017 by AJ Dorris, originally offering permanent make-up and spray tans. She had every intention of becoming the med spa that we are today from the start.
We took a few turns and relocated a couple times across East Texas before finding our home in Tyler in 2021 when we began focusing on anti-aging treatments.
AJ has always felt like she had horrible skin, she has KP or "chicken skin" and rosacea both began in adolescence. She was in her early 30's when she began Cosmetic Architecture and was starting to see the effects of time on her skin.
She became determined to find solutions for her concerns and to share them with other women who had the same or similar problems. She became a medical esthetician, certified injector and laser technician.

During her years of education she discovered many things about the beauty industry that sparked her search for alternatives to the standard medical cosmetic products. The reason that we only use Korean skin care products is due to some of this knowledge.

At Cosmetic Architecture we are dedicated to using products that are safe, formulated with the highest quality ingredients derived from natural sources. We believe those products produce the best results and will not use the chemical copies of the natural ingredients.
Cosmetic Architecture's mission is to provide safe, effective treatments at a fair price. We aim to continue to expand our service menu and are designing a product line that represents our beliefs.
